2011 AUSKF Championship
On August 12-13, 2011, the Mid-West Kendo Federation participated in the 12th All United States Kendo Federation Championship.
Choyokan sent 3 members as part of the MWKF team.

FIK Shinpan Seminar
The Shinpan seminar by the International Kendo Federation for the America zone was held in Chicago 3/19 – 20, 2011. Fukumoto-sensei, Ota-sensei and Ajiro-sensei visited from Japan to give instruction on how to properly serve as shinpan. Thank you for all the senseis, from Japan, domestically and internationally who provided valuable lessons for us.
国際剣道連盟によるアメリカゾーン審判講習会が3月19-20日、シカゴで行われました。日本からは、福本先生、太田先生、網代先生ごお越し下さり審判方のご指導頂きました。日本からの先生方はじめ、国内外の先生方に貴重な経験の場を与えて頂き、ありがとうございました。
日本語無料新聞紙、Jangleの取材の方が、体験入門の取材にいらっしゃいました。

August 28th was the last practice for Hotta-sensei and Okada-kun. They will return to Japan for work and college respectively. Best of luck in Japan, and we look forward to seeing you again.

MWKF Summer Camp 2010
